The sad remains of HMS Invincible at The Battle of Jutland

 

Thomas Lloyd Munday was an Able Seaman aged 19 years when he was Killed in Action in

 HMS INVINCIBLE (Admiral  Hoods Flagship) at 6:33pm on 31st May 1916 at The Battle of Jutland.

Of the crew of 1032 only 6 men survived the sinking which was one of the worst losses in RN history.

Son of Thomas and Sarah A Munday , of 3 The Grove, Twyford, Berkshire. Remembered with honour on Portsmouth Naval Memorial. With full crew casualty list and CWG papers.
